    Purpose of Job


    As Performance Marketing Manager EMEA, you’ll be responsible for maximizing the performance of all owned, paid and earned campaign activities across Europe. Devising, pitching and executing digital strategy will be second nature to you. 


    You’ll advise internal customers how best to achieve their goals using data and citing best practice to justify your recommendations.  You’ll partner with colleagues and external suppliers to realize visitor growth and customer conversion objectives, deploying, PAID, SEO, email, social media and content marketing tactics as necessary.


    You’ll have a strong grasp of all paid channels and be obsessive about customer journey tracking and landing page optimization using insights from Google Analytics. You must be able and prepared to be operational in adwords, keyword research tools and our CMS but also comfortable managing people and agencies.


    This is the perfect role for a digital native that has cut their teeth managing multi-facetted digital marketing campaigns across an international portfolio of brands at a digital marketing agency or client side, wanting to progress their career in an international environment.

    Reports directly into the Online Digital Marketing Director and is part of the EMEA Online Marketing. Strong collaboration with the Development Manager, E-Commerce Manager, Brand team and Etail team.


    Principal Accountabilities and Key Tasks


    • Partnering with online team, brand teams and regional markets to devise and execute paid, SEO, programmatic and content marketing strategies across European markets for brand and customer objectives.
    • Work closely with the Content Specialist to ensure the online team meet their new customer acquisition targets and conversion targets, and contribute to new product launch teams to ensure our new products start life with the visibility they deserve, on our brand websites
    • Partner with online brand managers to deliver SEO optimized content to support new product launches and to realize and harness the reach and engagement opportunities found within social media channels.
    • Increasing sales and improving visibility of our products in search engines, starting with keyword research, leading to campaign set up and ending with continuous careful bid and content optimization.
    • Using google suite of tools to map, design and optimize customer journeys.
    • Mange third party European agencies to meet your own high standards.
    • Training in-country sales and marketing teams, sharing best practice and reporting industry trends and innovation.
    • Preparing and presenting KPI reporting

    Knowledge and Experience


    • Proven experience within a digital marketing remit, at an operational and strategic level, ideally within an agency environment.
    • Demonstrable knowledge/experience of email campaign co-ordination (marketing automation experience an advantage).
    • Google PPC is essential.
    • Demonstrable knowledge/experience of paid search implementation and strategy.
    • Demonstrable knowledge/experience of SEO campaign implementation and strategy.
    • Demonstrable knowledge/experience of Social channel management.
    • Full understanding of complex KPI dependencies and landing page optimization.
    • Must be able to communicate well, translate search marketing best practice for internal stakeholders and manage to their high expectations.
    • Ability to set up Google analytics goals and events and interpret customer journey data to inform campaigns.
    • Google Ads qualified.
    • Google Analytics qualified.
    • Strong grasp of GDPR requirements for outbound marketing purposes.
    • Be able to write generate ad texts and targeted ad headlines.
    • Good numeracy skills with strong knowledge/ experience of MS Excel.
    • Passion for, and a wide understanding of, all aspects of digital media.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Excellent knowledge of industry tools and latest technologies.
    • Practiced and confident communication and presentational skills, open to alternative viewpoints and able to defend your own.
    • Affinity with non UK European markets a bonus, especially Germany or Scandinavia.
    • Relevant project management skills and experience.
    • Relevant experience to manage third party suppliers.
    • Ability and willingness to maintain skillset currency in this fast paced discipline and to grow professionally.
    • Ability to travel within Europe.
    • EpiServer experience an advantage.
