    Purpose of Job

    • Responsible for defining and executing marketing and promotional priorities to increase Traffic and Conversion with a primary focus on Amazon and secondary on Etail in EMEA
    • Coordinate the implementation of marketing and promotional activities across Etail in EMAC EMEA
    • Measure and Increase Traffic and Conversion on key EMAC Etailers in EMEA


    Reports directly into the Director Online Strategy EMEA and has a strong dotted line to the Sales Manager e-Tail EMEA.


    Principal Accountabilities and Key Tasks


    Drive Greater Traffic on Amazon and EMAC Etailers in EMEA

    • Responsible  for setting and managing the SEO process for Amazon and other selected Etailers
    • Responsible for increasing the ranking performance of key products through monitoring and making appropriate interventions.
    • Responsible for delivering effective campaigns (Ad and Promotions) to drive greater traffic and Use data to optimise campaigns and continually improve ROI.
    • Accountable for recommending the seasonal/promotion planning for the Amazon EU6 group.  Informed by post promotion analysis (ROI), and Category Management Planning. 
    • Work in close collaboration with the broader EMAC and Etail EMEA teams to achieve effective implementation. 
    • Analyse and review campaigns and promotional activity. Feedback learnings to broader EMAC and Etail EMEA teams ensuring continuous development and improvement.
    • Develop and communicate Best Practice examples throughout Etail EMEA team.


    Increase Conversion Levels on Amazon and EMAC Etailers in EMEA

    • Prioritise and implement content improvement to increase conversion on Amazon and other key EMAC etailers
    • Lead the Etail-Merchandiser and third party agencies to ensure ACCO Brands EMEA is using the most relevant and up to date product and brand presentation and achieve higher levels of conversion
    • Lead New Product introductions working closely with the Product Managers. New Product introductions online must be timely and have maximum impact.

    Posting Qualifications

    Knowledge and Experience

    • University Degree in marketing.
    • Experience delivering successful campaigns   in trade marketing, e-commerce and performance marketing either in an e-tail environment or within a consumer goods company of significant size and complexity.
    • Fluent in English. Additional language French or German – preferable.
    • SEO, PPC and overall SEM experience.
    • Proven ability work collaboratively across teams and cultures in a matrix environment
    • Able to work autonomously within agreed boundaries.
    • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, generate options, build consensus, and execute.
    • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to process website analytics and make recommendations based on data.


    • Ability to analyse complex data, develop focused plans and implement to drive profitable sales supported by Commercial Business Analyst.
    • Strong marketing background, able to make good decisions about Content.
    • Customer focused capable of dealing at a management level internally & externally.
    • Good Communicator and extremely practical - Able to communicate out Best Practice and support improvement across the wider Marketing Teams in local markets with a hands on support mentality.
    • Creative and adaptable in highly changing environment.
    • Commercially astute with the ability to demonstrate business understanding – makes good decisions and avoids “analysis paralysis”.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects & tasks using effective project and time management strategies.
    • Extremely focused and disciplined in execution.
