Posting Summary

Purpose of the Job:

 

To grow sales with selected dealers & resellers for ACCO Brands within the UK Wholesale dealer & reseller channels. Utilising the dealer database in order to drive effective and targeted communication of ACCO Brands sales, promotional, product and brand activity

 

Principal Accountabilities and Key Tasks:

 

  • Manage and grow sales through a portfolio of 150/200 assigned dealers. Building relationships with the dedicated accounts in order to effectively communicate promotional and product news to stimulate ACCO brand sales and pull through the channel.

 

  • Maintaining and developing a database of c.2000 dealers across the UK that will allow for targeted email and direct sales & marketing activity.

 

  • Identify prospect dealers who would benefit from a face to face meeting with External KAMs to identify sales opportunities and drive sales growth within the channel.

 

  • Liaise with marketing to ensure the latest promotional and sales tools are distributed to dealer accounts and where possible gain either promotional orders to gain commitment to run the activities.

 

  • Proactively working with customer services and finance teams to resolve, reduce and rectify any dealer queries raised.

 

  • Support where necessary customer sales team and product training requests so that the target set of customers become familiar and comfortable with Acco Brands products.

Posting Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

 

Essential:

  • Experience within customer service environment would support appointment at the Exec level.
  • Experience within a Key Account Manager role would support appointment at the Manager level.
  • Able to travel regularly within the UK and to attend meetings at the Aylesbury office on a weekly basis.
  • Proficiency in all phone, email and online prospecting tasks
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and results-oriented.
  • Comfort and experience in being measured and compensated against quality lead metrics.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, process, project management skills.
  • Excellent communications, documentation, presentation and telesales skills
  • Confident and comfortable presenting to Sales teams & customers
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge to support Dealer Wholesale team in analysing sales data received from the dealer community
  • Competent in all Microsoft Office software.

Desirable

  • Marketing Experience
  • Degree in business discipline or relevant professional qualification.
